Early Wildcard Strategy: Playing the Price Changes
As we announced right after the GW5 deadline, we have already activated our Wildcard chip. During a long international break, early Wildcard strategy is entirely about one thing: protecting and building team value.
We are not locking in our final GW6 team right now. Instead, our immediate plan is to ruthlessly sell players who are dropping in price (like Bruno Fernandes, Gabriel) and bring in players who are rising (like Bukayo Saka, Pascal Groß, and keeping Calafiori). By riding these price changes, we maximize our budget for when it's time to actually finalize the squad a day or two before the GW6 deadline.
